Live like a local for a few hours when you choose the Oistins fish lovers food tour and taste your way through some of the fresh catch of the day. Your food and history tour in Barbados will allow you to experience the islands two oldest port cities, Bridgetown and Speightstown.

Oistins is located on the south coast of Barbados and is an active fishing village where on weekend nights all the locals call home. The fishing village boasts a dockyard, jetty, fish market and a mix of fish food shops in Oistins Bay Gardens. The food is the main draw here featuring excellent fish, (tuna, swordfish, marlin, mahi-mahi, flying fish), lobster, chicken and more served in an extremely informal setting. You can get your fish grilled or fried depending on what mood you are in and it is all cooked on the spot in front of you.

Oistins fish market is open seven days a week and sells the freshest catch of the day. It is also where the annual Oistins Fish Festival is held and is home to the beautiful Oistins Beach. You cannot be on the island for long before someone is talking about fresh fish and recommending you make your way to Oistins. On this 2-hour tour you will see the dockyard, view the jetty and visit the fish and craft market. You will also sample delicious, traditional Bajan fish-based fare at three different stops.

Your short but comprehensive and delicious tour will end on Miami Beach where you can take the time to relax and view the town's coastline to capture some great photos to remember this very culturally immersive day.
